MM2 crashes when rendering

Working with a 8 gig AVI. I save to computer DV-AVI file
so I can load to DVD. Half way through get error message
that MM2 must shut down.

Running HP a250n, P4 2.6GHz, 1536MB RAM, 120G HD, Nvidia
GeForce 4MX 440.

1/2 way thru an 8 gig file is the 4 gig limit of a FAT32 disc....
