Can't find where to turn on number of bars in a folder. help please

[GBS]

Help please, in previous versions of Windows, the windows explorer window
showed how many files were in the directory that was highlighted. I can't
find how to turn this on in XP.

Go View > Status Bar in the Windows Explorer's menu.
