Recent motherboard failure required major rebuild.
Outlook 2002 communicating and email working. Set account
up as POP3. The issue is that I can no longer use my
existing Contacts as addressees.
Contacts are available under file folders.
When a new message is loaded, pressing the "To" button
results in a message "Address list could not be
displayed. The Contact folder associated with this
address list could not be opened; it may have been moved
or deleted, or you do not have permissions."

I would like to use these Contacts as I have for a number
of years.
I am the Administrator of the system.
I believe that the earlier system was using Exchange.

In outlook:
Click the address book button (not the contacts, but the address book in the
top tool bar)
Once it opens, you'll notice that in the "show names from the" drop down
that you have two contacts in there, one is bogus. Click on tools, options,
highlight the extra contacts and click remove. Make sure you pick the right
one if they are both named the same thing. Usually its just the top one.
Backup your outlook.pst file first in case you delete the wrong one, you
just bring the backup back and try again.
