microphone

I currently uopgraded from windows me to windows xp home
edition. I cant not get my built in microphone to work. I
cant find my sound card and waht not . Please help me

Your sound card may be built in the motherboard or it could
be an add-in card...look for three small jacks on the back
of your computer, one will say "line", one "out" and the
other "mic" or they may have the symbols of a speaker, mic.

There are three small jjacks, but the pc i have has a
built in icrophone that i shouldnt have to add one in

got three jacks, but my mic is built in the pc, dotn know
where to go from here appreicate the help greatly
