I have a problem that recently popped up and I don't know
how to get rid of it.
When the computer is booted up I am receiving an message
that "New Hardware" namely a Lexmark X74-X75 printer has
been found and when I click on the "x" to close it I
receive "Files Needed" "The file LXBBDR5C.DLL" on Lexmark
Injet Drive Installation Disk is needed. Type the Path
where the file is located, and then click OK.
Again, if I click on the "x" to close it I then
receive "A problem occurred during hardware installation.
Your new hardware might not work properly."
The problem is that my printer is working perfectly and I
don't understand why I get these messages or how to stop
them from happening.
Any ideas? Thanks.

file that matches the file name is a .dl_ file that is included in the
driver package. So unless someone knows how to convert a .dl_ into a
.dll I think we are all screwed.

You need to download and install an updated set of drivers from
www.lexmark.com. A *.dl_ file is compressed. The installer will correctly
expand it.
