Running XP pro
when I shut this new xp system down (it fires up again)
by itself ??
No task running ??
WHAT THE ??

I've tracked down the culprit
It's my cordless phone ??
beside finding a new room to put the base for the phone in
how can I stop this from happening

Hi,

No idea. Never heard of a cell phone base causing an issue like that.

NO It's any phone
anytime I use the phone "IT BOOTS"
anytime someone rings "IT BOOTS"
someone must know how to turn this "OFF"

it might be a modem thingy

running a D-Link (DFM-562IS)
