I just loaded XP Pro onto a new hard drive. After loading
I was prompted to set up user accounts. After creating the
account names, I tried to get into XP, but could not
because I have no passwords. The system did not ask to
create any passwords, including one for the Administrator.

What can I do to get onto XP without knowing any
passwords? Help!

Ken

Did you try a password of nothing, in other words, leaving the password
field empty and trying to continue that way?

I had the same problem...must be a glitch in the XP...had to reinstall fresh
and it solved the problem.

I did try that for both the user accounts and the
administrator account, with no success. Tonight, I'm going
to try to re-install per Rob's suggestion.

Thanks

Yes, there's no question that would work. I highly doubt you'd have trouble
with a fresh re-install. :-)

@drian.
