Thanks Sharon.
Are you suggesting I reformat again?
Yes, OE is set up again, but the dbx files are not showing.

It sounds like your old setup was showing hidden files and folders.
Possibly showing system files/folders as well. The new setup is still
hiding them.

Also, have you setup OE yet? The DBX folders appear after an account is
created.

Linda, the path to the DBX files is "C:\Documents and =
Settings\mrtee\Local Settings\Application =
Data\Identities\{83840CD4-6232-4C44-B63D-A80AC6B9123F}\Microsoft\Outlook =
Express". The path is the same for each user. HTH.

No, not suggesting a reinstall at all.

To show hidden files and folders use Folder Options> View:
Mark "show hidden files and folders"
That should be enough to see the OE DBX files but you may also need to
remove check next to "Hide protected operating system files" as well.

Another way to locate the OE message store:
Open Outlook Express. Click on Tools> Options> Maintenance. Click the Store
Folder button to see exactly where those files are currently located at.

Great! That did it. Something so simple, yet overlooked. Thank you so much!
