Internet Explorer not opening other sites

Thanks Wes. Yes I did - Im not a new user as such, I am very familiar with
pc's - I'm just a new user of XP
I tried all sorts of ways to trick it (that's why I did a search in Google,
so I could try clicking on the address direct). It seems to work that way,
but when I manually type the address in, it doesnt respond.

I did not mean to insult you. I have no earthly idea. I often have to find ways
myself to trick MS products so they work. ;o)
