[HELP]: How to change the USERNAME as well the target users'sdirectory

Hi

I need to change my user name from "FOO BAR" to "FOOBAR" (I have to remove
the space for security reason). How can I do this change??? (warning, the
change should be effective also when getting the USERNAME as an
environnement variable and how could I change also the directory name???

Go to Control-Panel User Accounts- Select your user account- Clect "Change
my name"

Hi Joe

This is not changing my USERNAME...it is changing only the LOGON NAME which
is quite different...

Create a new account with the name that you want. Log on to it once so that
its folders are created. Then use System Properties> Advanced> Users to
copy the account information from the old account to the new.

NOTE: To accomplish this you must be logged on with an administrative
account and it cannot be the old account or the new account. If necessary,
create a temporary admin account for this purpose.
