View Full Version : how big of a hard drive will windows xp support?

i just got a new computer with windows xp home edition and
want to upgrade the hard drive . and i want know how big
of a hard drive it will support. i dont want to install
multiple hard drives. Im looking at installing a 250 gb
hard drive. any help would be great thanks

Windows XP will support up to 4 Terebytes of storage. However,
your motherboard must also support storage that large. Check your
motherboard specifications.
