"could not find any compatible direct3d devices" This is
the error message I receive when I enable any screen
saver. My operating system is windows xp home edition

Right-click on your desktop and select:
Properties > Settings > Advanced > Troubleshoot
and move the Hardware Acceleration slider to "Full",
then click "Apply".

Afterward, right-click on your Desktop and select:
Properties > Setting and adjust your Screen Resolution
settings, then select "Highest (32 bit) Color Quality setting,
and click "apply".

Settings were never changed. Already at what you

Go to your Start Menu, Run, type dxdiag, click on Display tab at the top,
click on Test Direct3D.

If Test Direct3D is grayed out, this means your system does not have drivers
loaded for your card or you do have drivers loaded, but your card does not
support D3D.
