When I start my PC I get the following message:
"One of the files containing the system's Registry date
had to be recovered by use of a log or alternate copy.
The recovery was successful."
What can I do to get rid of this?
Thank you

A couple of things to try,
1. - On the Start, Run line, type CHKDSK /F and hit enter to see if the
system can correct itself.
2. - On the Start, Run line, type SFC /SCANNOW and hit enter,
you will probably need your XP CD installed, so protected files can be
checked for original condition.
