Should upgrade to XP from 98SE?

XP has a compatibility mode so you can play games that

They should be aware that while this option exists, it's not perfect and
there are applications that will not run regardless of "Compatibility Mode."
There is no guarantee they won't lose the ability to play some of those
games under XP.
