I have a Compaq Presario s4000j Athlon with XP installed,
switched to
a new s5000j with xp.
I am connected via DSL.
Our office has 5 computers connected in a network and 3
independant lines. There doesn't seem to be any problems
with the machines on the network. There are also two
laptops that are connected to the independant lines with
no problems. (A laptop user with xp says he has on
ocassion got the same message, but if he indicates that he
doesn't want to send the error message, he can continue
with his project, ----I can't.)I end up back at the Desk
top.
My computer is connected on an independant line. About
three or four times a day,(sometimes within 15 to 20
minutes) I will have an error message from Internet
Explorer that it has a problem and asks if I want to send
a report. Of course if I send or decline, the browser will
close and all work, that I was working on will be lost.
I have switched lines and also have a new machine and it
still
happens.
