I am new to XP.
On my 98 machine I use Sound Recorder to open WAV. files.
I do this because it is a simple, fast program which opens instantly when I
click a WAV file.
On my 98 machine I have configured Sound Recorder to play the WAV
immediately without my having to click the Start button on Sound Recorder.
On my new XP machine I have used Tools > Folder Options > File Types to
associate WAV files with Sound Recorder.
I have two questions:
(1) How do I configure Sound Recorder on my XP machine (as I have on my 98
machine) to PLAY the WAV upon opening without my having to click the START
button on Sound Recorder ?
(2) How do I change to WAV icon from the Music Match icon which XP uses, to
a Sound Recorder icon ?
Thank you.
