HELP i just bought a new copy of winxp pro and went to
install it on my d drive so ill have win 98 on c and winxp
on drive d until i decide how i like xp and when i hit
install on setup screen i get
installation source path for setup is invalid please
contact system administrator....

Hi,
Common installation problems are usually cured by restarting the machine,
then....
1) Delete the contents of the C:\windows\temp folder, there may be a file in
there interfering with the setup routine of the installer.
2) Turn off all other running programs, especially your antivirus software.
Use ctrl+alt+delete, if necessary, to "end task" on everything except
Explorer.
