TRSDkd ww:D:\windows\system3...

Whenever I try to close down or restart windows XP a box comes up with the
following: TRSDKd ww:D:\windows\system3... displayed in the title bar
it gives me the option to 'end now' and if I do it closes down OK. If I
don't a timer runs out on the box and then it says program not responding. I
can't find any reference on the Ms knowledge base, any suggestions gladly
received.

Hi, Alex. You have some sort of Java-based program running in the
background. Scan for spyware and remove it with Spybot Search & Destroy
from www.security.kolla.de and Ad-aware from www.lavasoftusa.com. Be
sure to update these programs before running them. These programs are
free, and you should run them both since they complement each other. It
is best to run antivirus and spyware removal tools in Safe Mode.

Thanks for that Malke, I updated my ad-aware defs and got rid of some
tracking cookies etc and the problem is now in remission, hopefully for
good!
