I've noticed other posts concerning this same problem.
My email alerts on both Windows and MSN messenger have
stopped working. They work when I sign onto messenger,
but they never reset or work after that.. unless I sign
off and on. I have been trying for over two weeks to get
this resolved through emails with microsoft support and
they have yet to give me any resolution. Has anyone else
been able to figure this our. It used to work fine and
then one day... it just stopped. I didn't change email
accounts or do anything different... it just stopped
working.

It's a known issue with microsoft and who knows when they will fix it..:(
I didnt do anything different either.....i just stopped getting the alerts. Just sit tight with baited breath and curse is what i'm doing...:)

Well I'm sorry others have the same problem, but I'm glad
to hear it's not just me..... thought maybe there was a
problem with my system. It's obvious their support
department doesn't know how to help or fix the problem.
