Which input are you capturing from? The Mic or Line-In? Have you checked
the volumes are not muted (double-click the speaker icon next to your clock,
goto Options -> Properties, Choose Recording, make sure the required inputs
are selected & click OK, now check the required inputs have a tick.

Thanks!
What's Line-In? Basically I want to record the online radio programs using
my software. I went to Options -> Properties, and choose recording, I tried
different combinations, still not working.
Please help.

Line-In is the auxilliary audio input available on your sound card. You
didn't explain before that you were trying to record an on-line audio
source. Unless the player program has a save function, then you won't be
able to capture this...
