View Full Version : MUI for Japanese XP?

I live in Japan but can't read much Japanese. I recently
bought a computer with WinXP Pro, Japanese edition, and
discovered that it has no MUI to let me change it to
English. One of the MS Japan sites says that there is a
way to get MUI for WinXP-Pro-Japanese, but then they
don't say how. Anyone know how to get it? I'd rather not
have to buy XP-Pro again in English if I can avoid it.

Hi Dave,
The MUI only works from an English installation. You will need to purchase
another disk to convert the base operating system over to English from
Japanese.
