I recently purchased a new PC with XP Media Center to replace my older Windows 2000 Pro server. I have a laptop with XP, another Win2000 PC and an XBox that connect to my network using my ISP (Cox Cable Comm.)
Whenever I go to run the Network Wizard I get an setup error: CANNOT COMPLETE NETWORK SETUP WIZARD, I've tried to manually setup the network and get a setup error as well. I've been through the KB and read and attempted articles 308522,304040, & 318030
As I go through the Network Setup Wizard I can see my network workgroup and click on it, but after 60 seconds an error pops up and as mentioned in KB 318030
When I view the network from my laptop I can see the other PC but not the new Server.
I cannot determine if this is simply a share problem or something else.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
