I'm setting up a new XP system in my network (my servers
are running NT). I have and account with the user
name "Melissa" and XP does not allow me to use this as a
user name!!. Is there a way to let me use this user name
or do I have to change the user name in my network?

Since Melissa is the name of a virus, I suggest you avoid using it even if
it is your real name. Otherwise you'll probably get a lot of sass from other
users - even if it is allowed.

If the computer's name is Melissa as well, or if there is already a user
named Melissa on the system, then XP would tell you that you can't create
that user. Make sure that you don't already have a Melissa account on the
PC, or that the computer's name isn't Melissa.
