Security Patches

I have Win XP-Pro installed on my system and when I tried
to download various security patches a message indicated
I was not a valad or authorized user? I pulled up info on
my copy of XP and found a Product Identification number.
Is there something I need to do to be able to download
these patches

Are you login in as Administrator? Download and install patches needs to be
done under Administrator.
