need to close

Hi
I had just posted a message on the message board,when a
box popped up saying Internet Explorer has encountered a
problem and needs to close, shortly before the message
appeared I had a box appear saying that pc cillin needs
to be updated, could this have been the cause?
I am using Windows XP, and as you have guessed pritty new
to computing.

Hi Kenny,

Yes, pc-cillin can be the cause, but so can many other things. Start/run
eventvwr.msc and check the system and application logs for clues as to what
is actually going wrong.
