Hi Guys and Girls

How easy is it to convert from Win XP Home edition to Pro without losing all
my programs and settings? If it is possible what upgrade disc do I need to
buy? I already have the XP Pro disc, but it is a full version not an
upgrade. Incidentally it's for a Laptop.

Thanks in advance

Ian

The full version is an upgrade and you won't lose anything. I've done it 3 times
on 3 different machines.

That's true if the Pro is a retail version and not a OEM version. a OEM
version of XP will do a clean install only, not a upgrade.
