XP Setup

I used START & RUN & D:DRIVE to setup XP but was told it
should have been DOS, where can I find DOS, also I have
activated the XP with Microsoft if I used DOS to reload
setup will the activation still be ok.

If you are trying to do a clean install of XP, the best way to do it is by
booting to the CD ROM drive. As far as activation goes, it transmits a
one-way hash of the hardware you have in the system, so if it's the same
system it should send the same hash and be reactivated without a hitch.
