error message

I don't know if I'm asking at the right place, or if this
has been addressed before. But when booting up the
computer, I sometimes get the message:
msgmsgs.exe The instructions at "0x68899a56" Referenced
memory at "0x019a0242". The memory could not be "read".
All I can do is clik OK.
Any ideas?

try going to the microsoft site and downloaded the newer version of DIRECT X
