My system specs:

Athlon XP 3200+
Asus A7N8X-Deluxe
512mb Corsair pc2700 2-2-2-5-1T
Radeon 9700 Pro
WD 80gb HD

I am having a REALLY annoying problem that won't go away. I've searched
Microsoft Knowledge base + a few newsgroups and cannot find the answer.
Here's the problem:

When I shut down windows it hangs at "windows is shutting down". ctrl
alt del doesn't work. I have to manually hold the power button for a few
seconds to get it to turn off. Newest drivers (nforce2, ATI, ect) &
windows updates. PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks!

Try this shutdown trouble shooter:

Also, make sure you have the latest flash BIOS upgrade for your
motherboard and associated drivers.
