I'm working overseas off of an xp-pro platform which I've "ghosted" on the D
drive. Forgetful me forgot to bring my os cd with me and when trying to run
variants of SFC the system asks for the disks. How, if at all, can I use
the ghost in place of the cd's for the time being.
Thanks.

Hi,
Unless there is some means of extracting single files from the images, then
you can't.

Sorry, looks like you need your original CD.
If you can get someone to send it to you,
Copy the I386 folder off the CD onto your hard drive,
and make the change in Regedit to point to the new
SourcePath.
Then you don't need the CD every time the system calls for it,.
