I have posted 2 messages to this group but
when I look in the group I cannot find them. I
also tried doing a find but they are not there even
though they are in my "sent" folder. Why???

Try this, in Outlook Express, go to View on the toolbar and from Current
View, select "Show replies to my messages," then you should see your
messages and any replies. You may need to download more headers in order to
see them depending upon the number you are set to download. Go to Tools and
select "Get next headers," whatever number you have designated in Outlook
Express options will be the amount of message headers that will download.
