My bios battery needs to be replaced, and fortunately for me it is
removable/replaceable. I just want to know if after putting in a new one if
there is anything extra required other than starting up the computer.

You may have to enter your BIOS settings again. Go through your BIOS
first and write them down.

The BIOS will revert to default. If you made any changes in the BIOS you
will have to re-enter them.
