Help!
This keeps popping up on my computer.(KHOOKER) My virus
protection doesn't pick it up as a virus but it must be.
The company it's from is (Silicon) go figure! Like you
can't tell that's a hoax.
How do I get rid of it?
It shows up as a Windows message to "send error message
to microsoft". I've never clicked this button so I don't
know what it does if you do.
You can tell something is messed-up because it has a
(HOT!) sigh on it.
What is it, if not a virus and how do I get rid of it???
Thanks, Lorie

>Thanks guys,
I went to the lava web-site and checked out a few places
that they said I could download the ad-ware. I went to a
couple places like the "geek" web-site and found some
sites confusing as to where the download was located.
Most sites had me flipping from page to page looking for
the FREE download. It was always easier to find
the "purchase" download site.
Then I went to the web-site "cybertechhelp". It was
nicely done!
The download was right there on the 1st page I went to.
It wasn't confusing like the other few sites I went to.
I would advise anyone with the problem I had to go to
this site. The lava site gives you a few web-site that
you can download the FREE-adware from and if your a new
user it can get a little confusing. Try out cyber tech,
it's a nice site.
I found the khookers on my computer very easily once I
started getting the messesages. I just went to the search
menu and looked in files and folders under a computer
search with the search word "Khookers". There they were!
Thanks for your help!
I should of done this sooner and I advise anyone and
everyone to follow the steps that the MVP gave in the
answer given to me for my problem.

I don't understand how "copy and paste" the "hijackthis"
log into a question in a new topic will finish cleaning
up my computer.
How does that work?
Thanks, lorie
