Sony volume controls

I upgraded to to XP pro from XP home. My volume controls
on my notebook do not work now or the function keys for
dimming the screen. My model is PCG-GRT170. I have
downloaded the drivers from Sony and had some probs with
the notebook driver installing.

Please reply to my email address. I am in Iraq and sony
has been of no help.
