Basically your pc is to slow and old. Yes it does meet the
basic bare requirements but if you can get it to install
on your system your gonna be more then a little frustrated
at the performance(which will be slower then a snail
because almost all of your resources will be used just to
run windows not the tasks your trying to use).
Best thing to do if you want your mother to have windows
xp is go buy a new machine.
