Epson TM-T88II POS printer

[APhillips]

I have recently received a POS-based printer from work
and I'm kind of lost on how to use it on my home computer.
I've tried a few different things, even downloaded a demo
version of a POS program but so far no luck. All I'm
getting is a bunch of question marks and C's, as if the
printer isn't able to translate the data into a printable
format. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
