View Full Version : reinstall XP not taking product ID

I had a hard drive go bad and had to get a new one and
reinstall windowsXP. It installed fine with no
problems. I am now at the "enter your product id"
screen. I have double, triple, and quadruple checked the
id number and it says it is incorrect. Anybody ever
experience this? Any input is appreciated. Thanks. Tim.
