Parallel Printer - Unable to print

I have an older Fujitsu DL 1100 dot-matrix parallel printer. It won't
print using XP but prints fine using Win 98 on my other partition. In
setting up the printer, XP had the printer in the pull down menu and
now explanation marks are shown in Device Manager.

Does anyone have any idea how to install this printer in XP?

Is the LPT port shown as working correctly in Device Manager when you boot
into XP?
