View Full Version : Primary vs Secondary Install Question

I have a small (4G) drive that came with my PC, and have
recently added a 40G drive for music & storage. I want to
re-install Windows XP Home ed on the smaller drive, but
had been told that I must install my larger drive as my
primary drive. When I install XP, it defaults to the big
drive and doesn't allow me to choose. Can someone tell me
how to select the drive I install this on? Sorry for the
dumb question but I need some help! Thanks!

Boot from the XP CD, and it should scan your system and offer both =
drives. Just ensure there is enough disk space on the smaller drive. =20
