wont start

my computer which has recently been upgraded will not
startup when first switched on. I have to switch it off
and then switch on again to get it to start properly

When you start the machine the first time what happens? Give a description
of this initial boot and include details about any problems that are
encountered. If there are error messages, what are they? If you look in
Event Viewer, is there any mention about trouble during the startup phase?

I may not know the answer to your problem but before anyone can try to
help, more details than you've provided are needed.
