Why do I get the error "dwwin.exe - DLL Initialization
failed" when shutting down?? How do I stop it?

You are correct, not sure but it will clear on its own. Not really a
serious concern.

Hello,
I had the same problem when I had my Gravis Game Pad installed on my
machine. I just unistalled the Gravis Experience 4.5 software for the game
pad and the error cleared up. The software was never useful to me
anyway...I just use the Windows drivers to run the game pad.
If you have a Gravis Game Pad, that is what is probly causing the error.
let me know what happens!
