I have heard that Outlook Express reqires either Word or Works be installed
on the computer in order to be able to perform Spell Checking in Outlook
Express. How about a new computer, such as a Dell, with Wordperfect, will
that work?????

Nope - unless MS has bought out Corel. And just Works won't do it either,
it must be the Works Suite as it needs Word (vanilla Works does not include
Word).

No, WordPerfect will not work, unfortunately. But there are
shareware/freeware spellcheckers that do work with Outlook
Express. I have no experience with any of them, so I'll let
someone else suggest one.

Some of these maybe of interest and are several other
shareware Spell programs via a Google search. Also
Office97 is compatible with XP if don't have OfficeXP.

I use Spell Checker for OE, a freeware downloaded from:

www.majorgeeks.com/article.php?sid=2952&cat=10

It does what it says on the tin, and on more than one occasion, it has saved
my beacon. Pity it hasn't got word checking.
