Hi folks, I think this is a know - but when I did my last install of XP
home - I like to learn by breaking things - I set up 3 partitions on a
single 30g HD - one for OS, one for Progs and one for media.

Now that I haven't broken anything in a whisle I have found that I need to
merge the two progs and media to 1 drive for space requirements.

Is there any way to do this without 3rd party software?

Only to do it without 3rd party SW is to re-format and start over.

Well guess what - ' Partition Magic and merging drives - but I'm a **** cos
I merged the drive that had PM installed on it. So I was left with C:\ fine
and no D: no installed programs and no E: media.

Just had to reformat anyway. I should have a warning installed on me before
I touch my PC again........
