How can I use the same desktop for multiple users?
When I log on a new user all that shows on the desktop is
the recycle bin. We had an employee who left our
employment and I would like the new user to continue to
use the same desktop as the previous employee.

Thank You.

you need to ask the administrator of the computer to remove the password of
the former user.
control panel > user accounts applet > click on the account you have the
password removed > change or remove password (whichever you prefer) etc.

you can also change the name of the old user to the new user, but remember
that you cannot change the folder name from the old to the new user found
under the documents and settings folder.

i hope this helps.

dennis
