When I try to enter a new stock in my investment I get the message " An
error has occurred during the last task Please restart

Then the message The instrutions a ------------- referenced memory
at ------------
The memory could not be read

It does not do this in the Safe Mode.
I have talked to the Quicken people and they say it is a conflict in the
software.
How can I find it./

Call the folks at Intuit again and ask them exactly what "conflict in the
software" they are talking about. It's their software, they should help
you.

I'm having the same problem except that it happens when I try to set up online accounts - same error message. Talked to Quicken support and they finally said it was a Microsoft problem - a conflict with Windows. I was told to "call Microsoft" and after t
hat, I could call Intuit back and tell them what I learned and they would try to help. I'm ready to use Intuit's 30 day return policy and send Quicken back. Was hoping somebody would respond here with solution.
