'PCI Simple communications controller' is a function of
your modem i believe, not audio. If you know all speakers
work, you may want to get a separate audio card, since
the onboard may have crapped out.

'PCI Simple communications controller' is a function of
your modem, not audio. If you know all speakers work, you
can a) try to look to update the driver from your system
manufacturer, and if that doesn't work, b)you may want to
consider a separate audio card, since the onboard may
have crapped out.
