Network File Access

How can you access the data in a shared folder via
remote? The host computer is already configured to share
all data in the folder using share at level 5 (remote has
all the rights in the folder) in windows expolrer. The
client can see the folder but can not access the data.

I tried doing the run \\computername and the computer can
not access its own data.
