HP Deskjet 890c

XP Pro and everything was working fine. Now the printer
might print 1/2 sheet or may go almost to the end af a
multi-page document. Eventually it will go off-line and
not print until I reboot the machine. Sony Vaio 866 P3
w/384 MB RAM. Sometimes pictures print okay, sometimes
may print on a portion of the sheet. Help? I have
reformatted the HD and re-installed all software and it
still does the same thing as before the refresh. I have
tried a different printer (HP DJ 640) and it seemed to
work fine. I have also tried uninstalling and
reinstalling the printer driver and the add hardware
wizard after removing the printer from the profile.
Help???
