I have both an Epson Stylus C42UX printer and an older dot matrix FX80 Epson printer. Because I am temporarily living 1800 miles from home I did not bring my CD programs and drivers. I want to hook up this older printer to use for unimportant documents.
I do not know what drivers I need and when I downloaded one from the internet it required my Cd for Windows. I am in a dilema as to what to do. Can anyone help me. I need to know the name of the driver and where to find it and how to install it without
my cd.

For the Epson Stylus printer

The FX80 printer will operate with almost any driver for an Epson 9-pin,
narrow carriage printer.

This is probably the best driver;

however, to install it requires some Windows files from the Windows CD. So,
you do need a Windows XD to install the driver.
