Memorex Scanner has Twain Error in XP Home:

HP 1.8gig
RAM 768mg
Nvidia video
Office 2000
AVG Virus Scan
DSL by Verizon

What do I do?
I get this "Cannot operate!", with suggestions to check if the scanners connected to the computer, connected to the power supply, and that you cannot connect the scanner to the bus power device
